Sons Of Texas bestaan sinds 2013 en komen uit McAllen, Texas. De band bestaat uit Mark Morales (vocals), Mike Villarreal (drums), Nick Villarreal (bass), Jon Olivarez (rhythm guitar) and Jes De Hoyos (lead guitar).
Het debuut album van het jonge viertal, Baptized In The Rio Grande, is geproduceerd door de iconische Josh Wilbur (Lamb Of God, Crowbar, Hatebreed) en is een 'Texas-sized portion' van power metal grooves, brute gitaar solo's, sing-along refreinen en met soul gevulde vocalen.
