When Dutch metal band Headless announced that the show they played in January 2010 was to be their last, drummer Danny and singer Simon both knew that they didn't want to quit music completely and decided to start a new band. Ex-Headless bassis Pim joined the project as well and the three bandmates were joined by Joeri, a friend and guitarist. Besides his talents, Joeri also brought the second guitarist, Madus to the band. The line-up was complete. But not for long.
Near the end of January, Rutger was invited to join the bandpractice and immediately sparks were flying everywhere. With Rutger came the clean vocals and the hip-hop influences that made Caliber .69 the band that it is now.
At the moment, C.69 is working hard on new material during their weekly rehearsals. When there is plenty to go around, they will start performing on stage as much as possible to make a name for themselves in Tilburg's music scene.
