How did we get together?
Tim and Berend where already playing in a band together, but in that band they didn't play what they wanted to play: Punk.
Especially Tim wanted to play loud crappy music. So they decided to start a band of their own with someone they already
knew for a long time. That guy is, Mark our drummer. Mark his nickname was Eggmeister ( don't ask ) so we chose Eggy as name for
our band. After our first performance Tim wanted a second guitar player, and we found our savior in Roeland. That was because
Roeland already wanted to play with mark ( musically speaking ). And that is how we became what we are today.
The name?!
As mentioned earlier, our first name was Eggy. But after a while we decided that it was time for a change, after all we
were now with four members. The new name is, as you will probably know, NiceMom. That is because Tim and Berend often use the
sentence: 'Leuke Moeder!!!' Which means: Nice Mom. And NICEMOM was born.
What exactly are we doing?
In short: making noise. But you probably won't take that for granted. So I will say that we play a poppunk kind off music.
With a few other influences like: ska ( very few! ). Actually we are still searching for our own distinctive sound.
