Kevin Martin (voorheen lid van o.a. God en Techno Animal) werkte reeds samen met uiteenlopende artiesten als Bill Laswell, John Zorn, Kevin Shields, Anti-Pop Consortium, Porter Ricks, Godflesh, Alec Empire en Company Flow’s El-P. Hij remixte onder meer DJ Vadim, Palace Brothers and Jon Spencer’s Blues Explosion en was de samensteller van compilaties als ‘Macro Dub Infection’, ‘Jazz Satellites’ and ‘Isolationism’.
Als The Bug maakt hij voor onder andere Rephlex Records breakcore-mziek met een sterke invloed van dub en ragga.
