Festival: The WE Festival 2016

For the past six years, during annual mid-Springs, there has been a certain mood in the air. It's a whiff of anticipation and appreciation, a good sense of gratitude for what is presently with us. This year the currents will whirl again, the WE Festival is back with more liveliness and joy!

WE would like to proudly welcome you to join us for yet another week of mindfulness and pleasure!

——— What is WE all about? ———
First WE should tell you what's new! WE are going official as Stichting WE Connect, a registered non-profit organization in Maastricht. What does this mean for WE? It means WE get to do more, with and for YOU! More workshops, talents, cuisines, vibrancy, some food for thought as well as evenings spent dancing!

Together WE make it our mission to create an inspiring community of new friends, new stories, and new futures.

——— What are WE up to this year? ———
- Three outdoor events with live bands, food trucks and activities in parks around the City!

- WE invite you to come and enjoy some wonderful experiences such as a WEekender at the Muziekgieterij and a multicultural evening at the InnBetween!

- The First ever edition of The WE Film Festival, a three day ride with more than 25 screening blocks each composed of a set of documentaries, shorts, features and/or animations, all revolving around the topic of Perspectives. Expect Q&A sessions with the film's creators, the ability to vote in the audience awards and loads and loads of popcorn!

- Theater performances, presentations, munch-offs, exhibitions and workshops such as ceramics, pole-dancing and yoga among many others!
