ThomC’s first sounds came out of an old worn-out 3-stringed guitar on which the strings were tied to the guitar’s bridge with a notepad (half of one actually) and it didn’t take long before he started using one for a different reason. His first two projects were inspired by the music he caught on cassette tapes or the music videos he recorded on VHS whenever he had the chance to, or by the sweet sound of his dad’s stereo buzzing in the living room. His brother never ceased to impress him when he played his guitar(s), and he’d go through music magazines for hours dreaming about the day he could afford one.

It all started with a book. When his mother came back from France, she brought back a leather-bound book made of thick parchment-like paper. With his growing taste in songwriting and seeing the impossibility of finding a band with the same heartfelt passion for music, ThomC’s solo career started and he played as many gigs as he could.

Before leaving college to put his heart and focus into music, ThomC met David Goffin with whom he later recorded his debut album « Human Magnets » in Lincoln, UK. After that, he toured in most of the southern part of Belgium but also went to France, in the Netherlands and in Germany. Also, his music has been aired on most of the national radios in Belgium (Vivacité, Classic 21, Pure FM) and he played in various well-known venues in Belgium (Le Botanique, L’Eden, WEX, Théâtre de Namur…). In the meantime, he has been learning the piano on his own and later released an auto-produced EP called 'Waiting Rooms' that he gave away for free on Soundcloud.
