Gitarist, singer-songwriter en producer Steve Lacy brak op 16-jarige leeftijd door als onderdeel van alternative R&B band The Internet. Na zijn doorbraak bouwde het multitalent in rap tempo een behoorlijk CV op. Zo ging hij op meerdere wereldtournees, liep hij voor Virgil Abloh's eerste Louis Vuitton show, werd Steve’s debuut album ‘Apolllo XXI’ genomineerd voor een Grammy en produceerde hij Kendrick Lamar's ‘Pride’ op slechts zijn iPhone.
