Foster the People bestaat uit 3 leden namelijk Mark Foster (zang, keyboard, gitaar en percussie),
Mark Pontius (drums en percussie) en Cubbie Fink (basgitaar en achtergrondzang). Foster the People is een indierock,indiepop en synthpop band. De band werd in 2009 opgericht in Los Angeles. Het nummer 'Pumped Up Kicks' zorgde in 2011 voor een wereldwijde hit.
